We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Supervisor to join our dynamic construction team at Raubex Infra. If you are a dedicated professional with a proven track record in construction management, we want to hear from you.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Building Foreman.
Qualified artisan with relevant trade certification.
Computer literate with proficiency in relevant software.
Proven experience in cost management for building works, ensuring projects stay within budget.
Experienced in material procurement and on-site material management.
Skilled in setting out buildings and managing levels with precision.
Conversant with standards, drawings, and quality control metrics.
Experienced in construction risk management and mitigation.
Ability to coordinate activities with civil and/or mechanical installation teams.
Facilitate work inspections with client representatives to meet project standards.
Ensure compliance with SHEQ regulations, applicable compliance obligations, and safety and quality control measures.
Implement and control lock-out and tag-out systems before and during energization.
Strong leadership qualities and a team player mentality.
Demonstrable ability to perform under pressure with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
Must be a South African citizen.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Ensure the achievement of production targets while maintaining applicable quality standards.
Enforce a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following procedures and complying with legal regulations.
Ensure allowables are met for the area of responsibility and report daily variances to the Construction Manager.
Track and understand emerging construction practices and standards.
Monitor and coordinate the use of plant and materials.
Calculate and monitor resources required and report any variance to Management.
Supervise and lead subcontractors and subordinates.
Communicate job expectations and work targets to the construction team.
Inform the Construction Manager or Assistant Construction Manager of subordinate changes or requirements and ensure job expectations and work targets are met.
Ensure timeous submission of site documentation.
Schedule and coordinate the workings of subordinates and subcontractors.
Provide methodology and technical assistance to the team.
Understand the Scope of Works for the area of responsibility.
Ensure customer centricity and compliance with site-specific policies and procedures.
Manage employees’ and customers’ expectations and communicate appropriately.
Show commitment to teamwork and a willingness to go the extra mile to achieve team objectives.
Consistently maintain high standards of professionalism in all aspects of personal presentation and delivery.
Ensure compliance with organizational systems, structures, policies, and procedures to achieve results.
