We are a subsidiary of the Raubex Group, with offices located in Bloemfontein, Pretoria, and Cape Town. We are currently seeking to employ a Quantity Surveyor to be based on site working across various trades and divisions within Raubex Infra.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

•BSc Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying.
•5 Years + Post graduate experience.
•Experience with Construction Computer Software (CCS) and BuildSmart integration.
•Contracting QS and Estimating experience in the construction environment.
•Must prove experience with SMME’s and the management of subcontract agreements.
•MUST prove proficiency in agreeing monthly interim certificates and final accounts.
•Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
•A valid Driver's License and own reliable transport.
•This is a site based position and the applicant must be willing to travel regularly as required.
•South African citizen.
JOB SPECIFICATION
•Provide comprehensive support to the Senior Quantity Surveyor (Snr QS) in detailed estimating, tender compilation, and coordination, ensuring strict compliance with all tender specifications.
•Support Business Unit Directors, the Snr QS, and Construction Managers in the estimation and measurement of works, generation of the bill of quantities, and compilation of requisite documentation.
•Demonstrate a sound understanding of construction project planning and programming principles.
•Review and interpret construction drawings with accuracy and attention to detail.
•Possess a thorough familiarity with various construction contracts and technical specifications, including but not limited to COLTO, COTO, SANS, GCC, FIDIC, JBCC, NEC and Bespoke.
•Assist the Snr QS in cost management and reporting throughout the duration of the project.
•Contribute to effective cost control measures to maintain alignment with approved budgets.
•Collaborate with the Snr QS and Construction Managers to monitor and ensure budget adherence, providing regular updates and financial reporting.
•Support the Snr QS in the preparation of monthly forecasts and final project estimates (End of Site).
•Ensure proper maintenance of records and implement effective document control systems for monthly cost reporting and final account reconciliation.
•Assist the Snr QS in preparing interim payment valuations, reconciliation statements, and calculation of CPAP in accordance with relevant indices and prescribed formulas, including impact assessments.
•Collaborate with the Snr QS and Construction Managers to evaluate and monitor subcontractor and supplier performance.
•Uphold strict compliance with all internal company policies, procedures, and governance standards.
•Oversee the efficient implementation of administrative tasks associated with quantity surveying functions.
•Agreeing and verifying Payment Certificates with Agents and Employers.
• Additionally, perform any other duties that may be reasonably expected, in accordance with the professional scope and competencies of quantity surveying practice.
